Through regular meetups, we hope to build a positive community in Austin that will host the first How to Build the Future Conference, tentatively planned for later this year or early next year. Stay tuned for details!

The Adam Smith Robotics Society explores classical economics to understand how robotics might create a better and more productive future for humanity.
In this book club, we will read Wealth of Nations over the course of a couple of months.
Our primary focus will be understanding Smith on his own terms. Our secondary focus will be exploring how Smith’s ideas inform our thinking about automation and robotics.
This book club is a good fit for anyone who: • wants to read Wealth of Nations • is excited about technology and would enjoy discussions about robotics and automation
We will meet twice a month. Every week we’ll discuss two or three chapters from Wealth of Nations.
For our first session, we will focus discussion on Book 1:

Any full unabridged version of Wealth of Nations should do. Our discussion leader will use the following text: Wealth of Nations. You can also use Wealth of Nations Project Gutenberg for free online.3 attendees
