#91: More introduction to philosophy: Skepticisum

Details
For August, we are continuing our reading of Philosophy: A Very Short Introduction by Edward Craig. We are reading Chapter 6, "Of 'isms'", which introduces some other areas of philosophy. To go along with it, we are also reading some of the work on Skepticism written by Sextus Empiricus, around 200 CE. Our main text for that is the book How to Keep an Open Mind: An Ancient Guide to Thinking Like a Skeptic as selected and translated by Richard Bett. Alternatively, an older translation is available at the Internet Archive.
Philosophy: A Very Short Introduction is available in many libraries and bookstores and easily purchased online. How to Keep an Open Mind is harder to find in libraries, but also easy to get online.
