You are hereby invited to Session Zero for Star Trek: Best Destiny, a new campaign using the Star Trek Adventures Second Edition roleplaying game.

The Premise
The year is 2371.
The Dominion has begun to cast a long shadow from the Gamma Quadrant. The fragile peace between the Alpha and Beta Quadrants grows more uncertain by the day. The events of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine are unfolding, while a lone Intrepid-class starship is about to be lost in the Delta Quadrant in Star Trek: Voyager.
Amid this pivotal era, a new Federation starship launches into the unknown:
USS Destiny.
Her mission: exploration, diplomacy, and standing as a beacon of Starfleet ideals during uncertain times.

What Session Zero Will Cover

  • Crew character creation using STA 2e rules
  • Establishing tone (optimistic exploration? moral gray areas? frontier diplomacy?)
  • Party roles, relationships, and shared history
  • Table expectations and play style
  • Discussion of themes relevant to this era of Trek
  • Time permitting, "Where the Stars Remember" - a short prologue adventure setting the campaign in motion.
