What we’re about

Let it all out - Come and discuss!

WHAT WE ARE:

A brotherly mutually supportive space for men.

Be respected and respect others and leave the compition at the door. We are a group of responsible, supportive and insightful great men and we are looking forward to including you - this is what we do:

CONNECTING - It is a place where you will be able to connect with other men and where you can exchange your life experiences and points of view with them, what makes you frustrated or angry, as well as your everyday feelings, no matter what those feelings may be.

EXPLORING SAFELY WITH SUPPORT - It is a place where you will experience support and growth and where you can feel safe enough to explore and reflect your feelings and life stories. Sharing is at the heart of the group but you share however much you are comfortable with - you're in charge.

CREATIVE STATE REGISTERED THERAPY - It is a therapeutic discussion group which at times offers workshops and borrows elements from Creative Arts Psychotherapies.

WHO IS IT FOR: This group is for men over 18 years old.

SOCIAL OPPERTUNITY: We offer a social oppertunity in the local pub after the meetings.
New members are always welcome as as well as our much appreciated familiar faces!
The group provides an always friendly, supportive and safe space where your presence is always very much appreciated and your contributions always welcome. Each session will usually offer a specific theme, such as for example:

Is there room for being a guy in this new western world? Are male qualities still understood properly and appriciated?

Is masculinity really toxit or is it just an attack on men in general?

Can we learn anything from contemporary political currents? Is it time to include the new gender politics in our thinking, and with that create a strong culture for men, over and above, for example, the current trend of hitting the gym frequently, in order to look physically bigger and stronger?
