Picnic, Discussion and Kite Flying!

Picnic - bring whatever you'd like to eat, and something to share - if you are inclined. Bring a blanket to sit on.

Discussion - I suggest we go back to the Sorceror's Stone - but am open to suggestions. Feel free to post alternate suggestions in the comments or email me.

Kite Flying - Bring a kite if you have one. If you will be purchasing one - consider a HP-related design - like an owl or dragon.

Please note the restriction on the type of string allowed on the mall. From the NATIONAL MALL & MEMORIAL PARKS SUPERINTENDENT?S COMPENDIUM:

Flying kites using glass-coated or other abrasive non-biodegradable kite string or line in the park is prohibited. The flying of kites cannot impact other visitors. All persons engaged in kite flying must make a reasonable effort to prevent resource damage, including the collection of all kite materials.

Did the Trio ever enjoy a picnic and fly a kite? Of course they did!!
