Discussion: The Battle of Hogwarts *ZOOM*

We know May 2, 1998 as the end of the war and the day Harry Potter finally defeated Voldemort for good. But let's take some time to examine other "lesser-known" parts of the Battle of Hogwarts. What tactics were most effective? Were Slytherin students prevented from fighting? How did different groups (teachers, students, the silver trio, magical creatures, the Order, etc.) contribute to the victory? What sacrifices and deaths have stayed with us through the years?
