Marauder's Map Scavenger Hunt in D.C.

Teams will be given maps, clues, and checklists and unleashed upon the National Mall in Washington, D.C., for a scavenger hunt. You can put together a team of 2-4 people ahead of time or come alone and we'll make sure you get sorted into a welcoming group. If you're feeling especially daring, you are welcome to dress in costume, but it's not required.

Do bring:
*A digital camera or cell phone that takes photos- your team will need to provide photographic evidence of some of the scavenger hunt items
*Good walking shoes- you will be walking all over the National Mall, visiting various museums, galleries, and gardens.
*Sense of adventure & a thinking cap
*Props- if you've got a wand or hat or something that you think might make for a good photo op, feel free to bring it along

Do NOT bring:
*Anything that won't go through security at a museum (leave Gryffindor's sword at home)

Start & finish:
In front of the Smithsonian Castle (entrance facing the mall). Teams will leave at 1pm and return by 5pm. Winners will be declared and prizes will be awarded.
