About us
Hiii, I’m Viv, I’ve spent the last 12 years working in HR and I’m now a Head of People Operations and enjoy the wonderful world of POPs.
I’ve been thinking about creating a space for people working in HR and People teams for a while, and I’ve finally decided to commit to it. We spend so much of our time supporting everyone else, dealing with the messy stuff, keeping things moving and being the calm person in the room. But there aren’t always many spaces for us to just connect with each other without it turning into a formal networking event, webinar or panel discussion.
This group is meant to be the opposite of that.
A low pressure community for people working in HR, People Ops, People Partnering, Talent, L&D and the wider People world to meet, chat, swap stories, support each other and, importantly, let our hair down after a long week.
Some meetups might be drinks, dinner, brunch or something fun. Others might just be a chance to get a group of good people in the same room who understand what it’s like to work in People.
No forced networking. No awkward icebreakers. No pressure to “bring value”😂.
Just good people, good conversation, a bit of mutual support and hopefully some genuinely good friendships along the way.
