About The Place :
Mahabaleshwar is a small town and a municipal council in Satara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is a hill station located in the Sahyadri mountain range. It features several elevated viewing points, such as Arthur’s Seat. West of here is centuries-old Pratapgad Fort, perched atop a mountain spur.
Tapola (Mini Kashmir) : It is situated in the quaint valleys of Mahabaleshwar, Tapola is a satellite village where nature has been very generous. Famed as the 'Mini Kashmir'.
TENTATIVE ITINERARY :
*Schedule may change depending on the weather conditions at that time.
Day - 1 (Friday)
- Catch Train (SL) to PUNE from Nampally Railway Station at 10:30PM
Day - 2 (Saturday)
- Reach PUNE at 09:00AM and Fuel up with some quick breakfast
- Drive to Mahabaleshwar
- We will reach Mahabaleshwar at 13:00PM
Day - 2 (Saturday)
• Venna Lake, Pratapgad
- Lunch Break before jumping into next events
• Arthur's Seat, Sunset
- Get back to stay at Resort/Villa
• Dinner
• Bonfire, Fun & Games !!
• Sleep
Day - 3 (Sunday)
• Wake up call at 04:30AM
- Get into private vehicle to cover today's places
• Wilson Point, Mahabaleshwar Temple, Shri Panchagani Mandir
- Recharge yourselves with local breakfast
• Tapola, Elphinestone Point, Kates Point, Lodwick Point
- We will have lunch on the way back to Elphinestone Point
• Mapro Garden (If time permits)
• Drive back to PUNE to catch Train at 06:00PM
Day - 4 (Monday)
- Reach HYDERABAD at 04:00AM....SAYONARA
Things to Carry :
1. A strong Back-Pack (preferably water proof/Back Cover)
2. Carry Rain Coat to cover yourself.
3. Sleeping Bag/Blanket (Optional)
4. Trekking/Sport Shoes with extra two pair of socks
5. Toiletry Kit and Tissues/toilet paper.
6. Photo Id (any valid card with your photograph and signature on it).
7. Any Personal Medication
