Valerie and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year

Modeled after the children’s book by Judith Viorst, Valerie White will recount the convergence of disastrous events in 2023 - both personal and professional. Valerie and her husband started investing in single family rentals in 2012. After a decade-long successful run (even through Covid), 2023 burst onto the scene as the “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year.” Everything that could go wrong, did. Valerie will share the tenant drama, the mistakes, and the small victories along the way. And most importantly, the lessons learned. She will offer tips on how to prepare for, muddle through, and emerge victorious from a variety of rental property calamities.

ACCURATE RSVPs ARE CRITICAL TO ENSURE WE HAVE THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF FOOD! Sweetwater Cuisine is a catering company who is opening up their venue to our group. They are known for their amazing culinary skills and will be serving us a buffet lunch for an all inclusive price of $25/person, which will include the space, meal, tax and tip for anyone who RSVPs and prepays. You can still attend if you forget to RSVP, but the cost at the door will be $30.

Please note: EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS MUST PAY FOR LUNCH, WHETHER YOU EAT OR NOT. This is the only way we can keep this a free club.

All menus include soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Use of the space is included in the cost per person.
