For May, Dr. Phil Bording will be speaking about Artificial Intelligence - Data Science with Machine Learning Applications. This talk will be at Calhoun's CIS/Math/Science building at the Huntsville Campus on Tuesday, May 28th at 11:30-12:30.
Artificial Intelligence has waves of enthusiasm, adoption and adaptation.
This talk features a brief review of AI history and a look at modern ideas. Our old fashioned mathematics has been extended to make these neural nets work. But wait! Our steps have to be random and in the stochastic direction, these tiny moves give us hope that the model we build will learn enough to work. Real world data examples will be discussed.
Phil is a Professor, Software Developer, and Architect and gives regular educational talks about Artificial Intelligence and Python instructional classes for Urban Engine / Coworking Night and is an active member of the local tech challenge community.
This is a brown bag talk. Feel free to bring your lunch to this talk. Subway is nearby if you need to pick up something quick on the way!
