I used to have this really long description where I ranted about adult friendships and the hardships of finding nice, normal people to hang out with.... but y'all already know that!
It's hard to make friends as an adult. I run an entire podcast and social club about it. People don't respond, people cancel plans, people flirt & get weird, the list could go on for MILES.
I'm assuming you're here for the same reason I am - to attend some fun events, attempt to make some friends, and find a ~purpose~ in this life. So let's get on with it. I host events at least a few times a month and I promise they're the best ones you'll find on Meetup (The bar is low).
By joining our group, you agree to the rules & terms. I know y'all don't read so to sum it all up: We're inclusive people. Have fun & let loose & drink but do so safely. Don't judge. Don't flirt or cross lines - this isn't Tinder!!!!!! Be freaking normal or I'll remove your A$$. Events are 21+. Read the event descriptions - most of your questions get asked in them like "What's the parking situation?". Have fun & TRY to make some friends!

Mamma Mia, We’re Playing Lotería!
We’re throwing a BYOB picnic-style hang at Raymond Russell Park for a Mamma Mia-themed Lotería night. Expect ABBA on repeat, chaotic bingo energy, weird prizes, and the kind of Friday night that makes you question your current friend group.
Bring a blanket, a bottle, your favorite snacks, and your best Donna Sheridan energy. Come solo or with friends and make some new connections (or at least win something ridiculous).
Please note: We are NOT associated with Raymond Russell Park! We are simply "Meeting up" to hang out as a friend group! Loteria will take place at a park table with our group!
All attendees are responsible for their own picnic supplies, set up, food, etc. and must adhere to all park regulations regarding glass/alcohol/etc!

Social Anxiety?!
We get it. It's weird to meet strangers off the internet - & our parents definitely told us not to! Our premium membership "verifies" all members so you can feel safer attending. We recommend grabbing a drink (alcoholic or non!) to have something to hold/sip for the inevitable awkward silences. Planning ahead, dressing in something that makes you feel confident, & thinking of some of your interests/potential conversations before arriving are some tips to ensure you have a fun night.
