This is a group for anyone interesting in learn to dance Latin music. Our vision is to educate people from all races and cultures on Latin social dancing.

### Salsa in the Square – May 6 – Merengue Night
Its spring time and its time to dance at the Square once again outdoors. Every Wednesday will feature a different lesson and its FREE! Thanks in major part to the Edmonton Arts Council for presenting this event in part with ETOWN SALSA. We have 8 weeks lined up for this spring with a level 1 @6pm and level 1.5 lesson @ 6:30pm and a social dance from 7-8pm. We have also a special live band night on our finale night June 24 with a LIVE LATIN BAND RUMBA CALIENTE and special time from 6-9pm with a * Level 1 Lesson in Mambo @6-6:30pm, * Live Latin Band @6:30pm -7:30pm, * Level 1.5 lesson in Mambo @7:30-8pm, * Live Latin Band 8-9pm to finish the night. Make sure to register so you can get full schedule of upcoming workshops at the Square. Our link below will get you a FREE class in any one of these. Register also for a reminder! Salsa in the Square every Wednesday! If its over cast, it will depend if any rain will affect audio equipment. A drizzle will allow us to continue, but a down pour will not. BAILEMOS 2026! Latin theatre Gala show
Edmonton Public Library Stanley Milner Branch, 7 Sir Winston Churchill Square, Edmonton, AB, CAETOWN SALSA presents its 18th annual BAILEMOS night to be held at the Muttart Theatre located in the basement of the Edmonton Public Library Downtown on Friday June 5, 2026.
Every year, ETOWN SALSA puts on a Latin dance showcase presenting not only Latin dance but also in the past has presented Hiphop, Belly Dance, Kpop, Breakdance, and many more dances from the world.
This year we have already confirmed dance schools such as EDC, Shane & Avideh, and Casa Tango, to be our guest dance groups to present a number or 2 at this years Bailemos Gala Night.
If you know of someone that has a great dance routine and would like to be part of this years show, send them our way and we can definitely take new routines in consideration. We have a 2 hour show to display Edmonton’s best!
