Volunteer Lab Work Session

Join us as a new volunteer for a Laptop Upcycle Lab work session. Laptop Upcycle Board members will open the lab and direct a work session in support of our future restart of donation and distribution activities.

We will focus on three primary tasks at this meetup:

1. Analyze the Input/Donation table laptops and categorize them for inventory tracking.
2. Test and verify "ready" laptops on the distribution shelves and document them appropriately.
3. Form a team and initiate design activities for a lab PXE server in support of our restart operations.

General computer experience and some Linux experience may be helpful for the first two tasks, while the PXE server team may need a bit more relevant technical background.

Importantly, we're looking to form teams that support and train each other with the shared mission of restarting the lab for local students later this Summer. Come with a positive attitude and a desire to give back to the community while learning some new things and meeting some like-minded people.
