Reel Philosophers: The Price of Freedom

Details
What is freedom? What’s it worth? And what is its price?
Come and join philosophers Anja Steinbauer and Alexandra Konoplyanik for a screening and discussion of a blockbuster classic following two women on their journey as they find answers to the above questions. One of them comments on the taste of newly acquired freedom: “Something’s crossed over in me, and I can’t go back.”
Inspired by the tradition of philosophical symposiums, Reel Philosophers events will help the participants sharpen their critical thinking through themed screenings and discussions gently facilitated by professional philosophers.
Reel Philosophers, co-produced by Philosophy for All and Reputy, is part of the Human RenAIssance series in Fleet Street Quarter aiming to connect the business community and develop human intelligence.
We will combine a social evening with a cinema night and a philosophical debate on freedom, responsibility and integrity.
