Motivated by the impact of a low back injury, I began investigating the Alexander Technique, and I found this work so transformative that I became a certified teacher. In 2008, I was introduced to Soul Motion® and obtained my Teacher Training certificate in 2013. In the following years of teaching weekly classes, I’ve matured and grown as a leader while keeping up with my studies with Vinn Arjuna Martí, the founder of Soul Motion. I'm serving the Soul Motion community further by taking on the role of class advocate, mentor to some of the new students, and as registrar to an expanding conscious dance community. What we're about

ALL ARE WELCOME. The essentials are respect of self, others and an appetite to move your body, even just a little bit. The size of this drop-in class ebbs and flows weekly. For the past several months a weekly group of 7-14 has cultivated trust and a generosity of kindness. Importantly, you’re also invited to join us for a conversation-circle regarding our dance practice in the everyday after the music ends.
