Fall Hike in Hacklebarney State Park, Chester NJ
Welcome the autumn in a 3 way celebration for all ages and family friendly. Come to one up to all events. Price is free and you only pay for what you consume or buy yourself. Fyi, Giants vs. Falcons don't play until Monday Night. Event # 1 An easy, fun and scenic hike for one and all including the family. Can be easy or hard as there are multiple options to lengthen or shorten the hike. Only want to relax or have kids that don't want to hike? There's multiple benches to rest in trees/sun and a playground for the kids to play. Have older kids? They'll love the rock hopping on the Black River, multiple waterfalls, stream/river jumps & bridges. http://www.state.nj.us/dep/parksandforests/parks/hackle.html Event #2. After the hike, have fun with more classic autumn activities @HackleBarney Cider Mill. There's a corn maze, pumkin picking and cider making demonstration until 4pm. If your hungry, enjoy the sweet smelling/tasting baked fresh food including warm Cider Donuts, sauerkraut hotdogs cooked in cider, hot apple pies and lots of still warm baked goods. http://www.hacklebarneyfarm.com Event #3. For the adults and family, enjoy a very popular scene 5mi away at the Long Valley Brewpub. Its a restored 18th century historic barn. We will need reservations for that so Rich will need a head count for that. Otherwise we might have to wait up to 2 hours. Brewpub has an interesting and enticing menu that is rl filling and is a vg meal, hope your still hungry. For liquid refreshment, choose from seasonal brews and other favorites. Want to enjoy it again? They sell growlers. When there is heavier traffic near Chester/Rt 24, it is possible to turn Left before town and enter park by the back rd. Fyi, rd. is winding and has a narrow curve before a 1way bridge. What we're about

Welcome to the Outer Circle Ski And Adventure Club website. OCSC is a four season club based in central New Jersey

We are an active social and adventure club in NJ, Philly and NYC. During the winter, we focus on downhill/ cross country ski/snowboard US/Canada/ world trips. As winter only occurs for a few months in the northeast, OCSC has an active year-round schedule doing the many activities found througout the region. We will go wherever the fun, exciting, adventure and interesting activities or events occur including the shore, mountains, city or suburbs. We try to keep a fun, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to meet new friends and have a good time. Don't worry if you don't know anyone in the club yet, you will when you attend an event. All are welcome to contribute, think of a trip or event and help out. This is a club that listens to its members and the members are the club. If we hear of any interesting event then we will probably do it. Non-skiers are always welcome on activities, events & trips. Some events are family and/or kid friendly. Many events sometimes are a combination of multiple topics. One popular event is concerts with chocolate/wine tasting, food trucks and festival tents. The tennis party has games/poker occuring simultaneously while there is lots of food & drink.

skiing-downhill/cross-country, snowboarding, snowblading, snowshoeing, day/weekend hikes, tennis/game party, day/weekend bike rides, football (watching, going to, playing), camping/glamping, hockey games, baseball games (majors,minor, independent), rock climbing, kayaking, scuba trips, horse racing/bbq, golf, bowling and softball.

Social:
social/happy hours,
beach parties, concerts, chocolate/wine tasting, monthly dinner, food truck event, festivals, County Park events, Broadway/plays/theatre, community shows, museums, casino/racino trips, movie/pizza night, pool/bbq's parties, shore/boardwalk trips, holiday events and card/poker/game night.
