Who The QR You? is Beijing’s newest and most innovative networking group that aims to create a new style of event where you can truly connect with like minded people. Leave your business cards at home and discover a new way to network. The first and most important thing to understand about Who The QR You? networking events is that no business cards are allowed. Instead, people connect by the scanning of QR Codes through the WeChat application. It seems that everywhere we go in China we are greeted by these strange, distorted, square images, which are QR Codes. These are basically just square versions of bar codes, which we all know very well. How does it work? Step 1 – Leave your business cards at home. All you need is your smart phone. Step 2 - Download Wechat (Weixin) on your smart phone. Step 3 – Register for the event and when you arrive we will print you out a QR code. Then scan whoever you want to connect with.
