
What we’re about
All are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. This group is for beginners as well as long time practitioners of meditation! You will be provided with the tools to help you find relief from today’s stresses and anxieties and discover true and lasting happiness. The specific meditation we practice is called mantra meditation, an ancient form of meditation that has been practiced since time immemorial. In this meditation we focus our minds on the hearing and chanting of transcendental sounds. Simply by hearing and repeating these sacred sounds you will find relief from stress and anxiety and become immersed in spiritual happiness. A happiness that is beyond the senses and mind - a happiness in the heart.
Our group meditation events are posted here on meetup so stay tuned. We also have Online Meditation Classes on our website http://yogameditation.ca/ and we have meditation music for you to download.

We invite you to pause, breathe, and soak in the uplifting sounds of ancient mantras in a beautiful outdoor setting. Let go of stress and reconnect with your heart through the power of spiritual sound.
EVENT INFO:
- Cost: Free
- Where: Trinity Bellwoods Park – 790 Queen St. W., Toronto (southwest side near Queen & Crawford, beside the community centre)
- Seating: Bring a lawn or camp chair if you like. We’ll also have large carpets to sit on.
- TTC: Closest stop is the Queen Street streetcar.
- Parking: Available on surrounding streets — just be sure to check signage carefully.
- Location in park: see the map for where we will be seated.
