CHANGED WALK FOR SATURDAY 26TH AUGUST. Clayton heights circular . Take the 576 Halifax bus from Bradford Interchange at 9.42am arrive War Memorial at Highgate Road junction with Stocks lane (which is just before the Dolphin pub) at 10.05am. From Clayton Heights we go down to Brow lane then West Scholes to Mountain and then Warmleigh Farm to Shibden Head - Long Shaw - then along Blackshaw Beck Lane and up Stocks Lane to arrive at the War memorial where we started on paths and bridleways over fields which could be muddy and some roads, there are some awkward stiles on the way and a couple of steep climbs. Plenty of on road parking for those not catching the bus. 7-8mls 1266ft ascent.

Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. Strong boots and suitable clothes are recommended as some of the paths could be be muddy. finish time is approximate. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
