Join our friendly coach heading to the lovely North Yorkshire town of Ripon. There is the choice of 3 levels of walking. All walks finish in Ripon, where we shall hopefully have some time to relax in before the coach heads for home at 17.00. cost £15.00.

Bradford pick up at 9.00. Nelson street collection point (opposite the police station ).

A walk (harder).
Hopefully spring flowers and Deer.
Ripley to Ripon.
10.6 miles.
500 ft ascent .

B walk (medium).
Snowdrops.
South Stainland to Ripon.
Our walk starts at South Stainley and goes mostly along the Ripon Rowel via the lovely villages of Burton Leonard and Littlethorpe which is especially pretty

The walk is 9 miles. We will visit a shallow part of the River Skell where it is very easy to clean ones boots and then visit Wetherspoons It is nine miles and mostly gentle.

C walk (bit easier)
More Ripon Rowel*
Wormald green to Ripon.
We get off the coach at Wormald Green, just a bit further up the hill from the B party. From there we follow a good track to the village of Bishop Monkton. We then meet the Ripon Rowel Walk which we follow to and along the canal into Ripon. The walk is 6.5 miles long with virtually no climbing.

If you are coming out with our group on Sunday for the first time - please send a message and let us know where you wish to board the coach and we can make sure someone is there to look out for you.

NB It is very important that correct clothing is worn or carried on our walks, including waterproofs, woolly hats or sunhats, warm gloves and sturdy hiking boots, as we often walk on rough terrain. The walk leaders have the right to refuse to allow anybody not properly equipped to join the walk. Please come prepared. You will need a packed lunch and enough fluids, and you may need sun cream and insect repellent.
