Behind the curtain of the PyGraz site (was:Modern ops in Python with Kubernetes)
Details
Unfortunately, our original speaker was unable to attend at short notice. Therefore, the meeting cannot take place with the planned topic.
As a replacement program, Dorian and I will present the recently relaunched PyGraz website and discuss the technology behind it.
Obsolete description:
In this workshop, we are going to take a look at how to bring up a Kubernetes cluster from the ground up, using Pulumi for Infra-as-(Python)Code, as well as good practices for hosting (Python) applications on it.
Participants (who want to follow along on their laptop) would need a working Docker setup, and either nix or the following tools:
- kind and cloud-provider-kind
- kubectl and (optionally) k9s
- the Cilium and Hubble CLIs
- Pulumi, with its Python language plugin
