We get together every week and share meditation and conversation about what arises in our everyday lives. It’s a relaxed and friendly way to experience Zen, koans and conversation about what’s real in your life might be like for you. It's also a chance to listen and learn from others.

All are welcome whether you've never meditated or are an old hand at it. There's nothing to believe or worship. Just come as you are and that will be just fine.

Our meetings usually start with a short meditation. Then we have an opportunity to share whatever comes up for any of us that wish to, saying nothing at all is perfectly alright. Zen Meditation isn't about being right or wrong or understanding fine philosophical points or attaining special mental states. It's about becoming at ease in the life you are living in now.

If you wish to start with some basic meditation instruction please let us know. We would be happy to meet either before of after the meeting and answer any questions you may have.

Some basic group suggestions:

1.  Speak from the heart and trust your own experience

2.  There’s no obligation to share

3.  Listen with your whole body

4.  There is no need to fix yourself or anyone else

5.  It’s OK to ask questions of anyone

6.  It’s OK if there’s silence

7.  Try to be on time, but if you’re late, that’s OK.  Just come on in and take a seat.
