Slavic Sauna Ritual for Sisterhood Members

A deeply restorative women’s gathering inspired by the Slavic banya tradition: sauna, steam , warmth, water, herbs, rest and shared ritual.

It is not just a sauna visit. It is a slow, intimate experience created for a small group of women to step away from everyday noise, soften the body, clear the mind and reconnect with themselves in a supportive atmosphere.

Through gentle heat, aromatic herbs, traditional whisk work with leafy branches, body-care rituals, meditation and time in nature, we create space to release what feels heavy and come back to your own inner strength.

No previous banya or sauna experience is needed. You are welcome exactly as you are.

When: September 12th 11:00-15:00
Location: Riverside banya in Neratovice, around 20 minutes from Letňany (transfer possibile)
Group size: Maximum 6 women
Price: 2 000 CZK per person

The price includes private banya rental, whisks, towels and sheets, all guided practices, herbal tea and snacks.

What awaits you:

- A shared steam ceremony to arrive, warm up and open the space together
- A gentle individual *venik* ritual for each woman, approximately 10 minutes
- A cleansing body scrub with pink salt, herbs and rose oil, followed by a white-clay body mask
- Herbal aromas and smoke cleansing with sage, mugwort, copal and palo santo
- A guided meditation for releasing tension and reconnecting with body and mind
- Optional river swimming or cooling in nature
- An optional fire ritual - a moment to symbolically let go of what no longer serves you
- A closing sound practice with a shamanic drum

The banya is a wellness and cultural experience, not a medical treatment. Please come hydrated, avoid alcohol before the event, and listen to your body throughout the event. You may always step out, rest or skip any practice. If you are pregnant; have a heart or blood-pressure condition; are recovering from illness; have a fever; or take medication that affects heat tolerance, please check with your doctor before joining.
