Across cultures, wolves have lived not just in ecosystems, but in our oldest stories—as guardians, teachers, and mothers of life.
Wolves are not only the ancestors of dogs—they are woven into our cultural memory and sense of belonging within the natural world. And when women remember their bond with the wild, they remember their power.
To protect wolves is to protect the living systems that sustain us all.
Winter is a beautiful season to gather by the fire, and I’d love for you to join us at my home for a special evening together.
We’ll watch a live virtual presentation from Women for Wolves, an organization dedicated to education, science, and coexistence. Their talk weaves together ecological research, lived experience, storytelling, and advocacy to explore the vital role wolves play in healthy ecosystems.
Wolves are more than symbols — they are keystone species whose presence reshapes landscapes, biodiversity, and even river systems.
We’ll view the presentation via Zoom as a group, then have time for conversation and reflection afterward.
If you’re curious about wolves, the wild, or the future of our shared ecosystems, this evening is for you.
