Because training should be as joyful as race day
Join us for a light-hearted, tail-wagging training series leading up to the Where the Pavement Ends Single Loop Canicross trail race in Ridgefield, CT on September 20. Whether you're running, walking, or trotting beside your pup, this biweekly Sunday meetup is designed to help both humans and dogs build confidence, endurance, and connection—without taking ourselves too seriously.

### ✹ What to Expect

We’ll begin each session with a short walk to calm our minds and center our bond with our dogs and maybe hug a couple of trees. Think deep breaths, paws on the earth, and the simple joy of being outside together.
Then we’ll ease into:

  • Gentle warm-up walks
  • Playful agility & leash work
  • Trail runs or power walks (we’ll build distance gradually)
  • Social time for dogs and humans
  • đŸ¶ Who’s Welcome
All friendly dogs and their human teammates—runners, walkers, hikers, beginners, and seasoned adventure buddies. No race experience required. (Puppies must be fully vaccinated.)

### đŸ„Ÿ What to Bring

  • Water
  • Leash (no retractables, please)
  • High-value treats
  • A sense of humor

This isn’t just training—it’s community. By September, we’ll be more than ready for race day
and probably have a lot of muddy paw prints on our hearts. And if you don't want to register for the event and just want to come out for the fun and exercise, please do!!
