ABOUT ME:
I’m currently deep into the gazillionth rewrite of my noir novel set in 1990 Bombay—because what’s writing without endless revision?
My memoir and fiction have appeared in CWC Literary Review, Ursa Minor, 166 Palms, Carry the Light, and Fault Zone anthologies. Along the way, I’ve picked up several awards and even landed a Pushcart Prize nomination in 2022 for my story To Be a Woman.
I hold a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Writing (UC Berkeley Extension) and an Online Novel Writing Certificate (Stanford Continuing Studies). When I’m not buried in words, I tap into my background as an architect with a Bachelor of Architecture (India) and a Master of Landscape Architecture (Texas A&M).
Beyond writing, I host weekly Shut Up & Write sessions, run my own critique group, and volunteer with the CWC club. To keep my creative life balanced, I organize twice-monthly dinners where I connect with amazing women over food.

Every week on Wednesday until June 23, 2026
