California Writers Club - SF Peninsula Presents...

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you” -Maya Angelou.

Join teacher, author and public speaker Éanlaí Cronin for a three-hour workshop in which we write our untold stories. Using a series of prompts - poems, essays, memoir excerpts - as springboards, we will write together, dropping deep into our own material and surprising ourselves on the page. For as Robert Frost said, no surprise for the writer, no surprise for the reader. With Éanlaí's guidance we will rediscover our core material, embolden our storytelling and stroke the embers of new beginnings.

Schedule:

  • An opening meditation
  • A short introduction to the Amherst Writers and Artists Method
  • 2-3 Writing Prompts
  • Reading and feedback in small groups
  • We are encouraged to write by hand
  • A light lunch will be provided

Reserve your seat for $65. Register here:
