For everyone's security, this is a controlled-access meeting. The new registration system is simple:

Registration closes 24 hours before the event starts.
Links will be sent out the evening before, to verified participants who complete the registration form. Please place a comment here or communicate through CWC channels if you need help.
Join us for an informal, friendly evening of readings from a variety of authors: poetry, essays, short fiction, excerpts of novels both published and in progress.
If you’d like to enjoy the evening as an audience member, you are more than welcome to join us! You can engage with the authors in chat, learn about the California Writers Club, and lend your support to our readers. (Be prepared to think, "I can do this! Next time, I'm reading, too!")
We will sign up readers on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please arrive on time if you’d like to read. If you're reading, please come prepared to read for 5-8 minutes. We'll flex the available time, depending on the number of participants. We manage time carefully to be sure that everyone who wants to read gets their chance, so keep that in mind as you select your material.
Remember, registration (which is not the same thing as an RSVP on Meetup) is required and enforced. You must fill out the Google Form if you want to attend, whether to read or to listen.
