Welcome to our D&D intro. This session is for people that want to join the Elflandea campaign and also want to know more about RPG games. There is no commitment to playing in the long term game.
If you are new to Role Playing Games this is the group for you. I have been teaching thousands of new player over the years to play D&D from 1st to 5th edition.
For a small fee of $20/ session you will get to learn how to Role Play. In my weekly meet up game I have been getting an overwhelming amount of new requests for new players to join our already full group since we moved to online. Many of the long term players have complained that new players are taking away from game time since new players are new to D&D. Hence I created this training session the help new players learn the game.
The Elflandea Campaign is every Friday night 830pm-12 midnight. The group is full of smart and interesting people. By being a part of this intro class you will learn more about the campaign and if it is right for your style of game play. There is a meetup that describes the Elflandea Homebrew campaign.
In this learning session you get to learn how to Role Play early edition 1-2 e and 5e Dungeons and Dragons. Each session takes on a new topic. 1) 1-2e 2) 5e 3) Character Creation 1-2e 4) Character Creation 5e. The topic will be determined based on the people signing up.
There is no long term commitment to play in our weekly game. If you want to try out the game then you get to learn the basic rules and aspects of editions in this class. You are more than welcome to join in the fun. Books are very helpful in learning if you would like to have books let me know, you can message me before the session and we can get you set up.
The meeting will be on discord for at least two hours each Sunday night 7-9pm CST. Payment needs to be made prior to the session on Venmo and Zelle to my number below.

Note in order to join this group you need to attend the intro on Sunday first and will get you up to date on gaming. The cost is $20 for each intro class, the introduction is an interview and fun way to learn how to role play, learn 1-2e and 5e D&D, which is held each Sunday evening. We have limited space available in the gaming sessions. TBH our game is full but willing to make friends with the right people. We also want to make sure that we are matching the right new people to our existing game. Take a look at the Sunday session for more information.

The story line for Ellflandea started over 40 years ago in our world. Instead of building a character to 50th level, you can now build your house with multiple characters, think Game of Thrones. Explore early edition Elflandea, Greyhawk, and other 5e worlds. Get lost in a dungeon crawl or enthrall yourself into a story rich in character traits and back story. Learn the lore and history of a game campaign that has spanned decades. Come join us and find out what happens next.

With that said, we love to role play with experienced players more than anything. This is a group of friends that love the game. This is a thinkers game with role plays and rich lore. We are role players not min/max, or rule mongers the system is early edition 1-2e DnD with later edition home brew. We do play some 5e, not often. You will be expected to play and learn both editions. The sessions meet on Discord, you need to attend the Sunday intro in order to get the code. The group overall gets along well. So we need to make sure that you match our style of play before you get the discord code. If you need books then let me know I keep a large inventory of books of RPGS. You really should own books to play the game and have them for the intro class.

We are only looking for players that are able to commit to showing up each Friday. If you are looking to try it out and see how it goes we are not the group for you. The saddest thing is to invest our time and life into people that cause problems or flake out. More recently we have been getting a lot of this happening. Changing times means changing processes. We are looking for people to form real friendship not just a gaming session that you can do what ever you like. If you are looking for that kind of game that is not us. There are loads of other 5e games where you can play that way. Prefer people that are familiar with both 1-2e which we play mostly and some 5e DnD.
