This is a meetup event offered by Leeds Tabletop RPG. To kick off the new year, please find an invitation to a one shot of 5th edition D&D in an alternate history England immediately following the English Civil War.

This session is open to all and is suitable for newcomers to the RPG hobby more generally, this is a rules light, narrative focused game. Pre generated characters and other items will be provided for all players at the session.

The Darkest of Deeds in the West Riding
Something dark and strange is going on in the byways and wicked country roads around fallen Pomfret Castle, workers will no longer toil at tearing down the walls of the mighty keep, for many are the tales of the strange magics and hauntings around that fell place.

Indeed, none dare tend the liquorice crop that makes the famed Pontefract Cakes!

Despatched by the Lord Protector himself you are a rag tag band of parliamentary agents, among you a dwarven reverend and knight of Malta, a half elven leveller from the Welsh valleys, a turncoat former royalist arms man and other raggamuffins.

Beware the witching moon waxes high and the ghost of the wronged woman Meredith Powell is abroad.
