Superhero Season
Details
On the one-year anniversary of the brutal battle between Omni-Man and his son Invincible that caused massive destruction worldwide, the city prepares a memorial event to honor those who were lost. Machine Head, the notorious criminal kingpin, sees the gathering as the perfect chance to strike at the many superheroes present. He quietly spreads word through the criminal underworld in the weeks leading up to the event – on the day of the memorial, he will pay a substantial bounty for every superhero successfully taken out, and the offer draws out every kind of low-life, assassin, and supervillain eager to cash in on the opportunity.
