Beach Volleyball at St Albans Verulamium Park

Welcome back to our 12th year of playing Beach Volleyball

A new company called Deep Dish Beach Volleyball has taken over from Everyone Active.

Unfortunately the price has increased to £18 per hour (£36 for 2 hours).

Like most team sports, everyone needs to be able to play to a fairly good level, to enjoy the game! We are aiming to have a fun game with a mixture of average to good players. If you are expecting a professional level, then this group is not for you.

For that reason, these games are not open to beginners, and you must be at a reasonable level and 16 years old or over to join this group.
Only 1 player who is below average will be allowed per side so we can have some great games.

If you are a beginner, take a look at YouTube training videos and train with a friend. Or even better VB training is provided by Deep Dish St Albans | Beach Sports Club (deepdishbeach.com)

If you wish to bring a friend along then that's finei, but only if they can play VB to a reasonable standard. They will need to sign up to this Meetup group first and RSVP on here, before they play.

Please paypal me £5 as soon as you RSVP. Your RSVP will be changed to not going if payment isn't received within 30 minutes of signing up for this game. If you don't use paypal, then I can send you my bank details. Cash on the day is not permitted.

Important: Use "Pay a friend or family" rather than "Pay for a service". If you want to use "Pay as a service" then the cost is £5.70 per game to cover PayPal service charge.

Parking
Pay and display car park is available at Westminster Lodge Sports Centre.

Free Parking is available in local streets and outside of Waitrose Supermarket on Kings Harry Lane. Please read all parking restrictions signs.
