Please read carefully — this is an unusual theater event and may not be right for everyone.
This Saturday evening performance is part of the Formerly Incarcerated People’s Performance Project (FIPPP) Festival and features formerly incarcerated performers sharing true stories from their lives.
This is not traditional theater. These performances are raw, personal, and deeply human. The stories explore incarceration, survival, accountability, transformation, and what it means to rebuild a life after prison. Some material may be emotionally intense.

### On Stage

Randy Carter, Tony Cyprien & Anthony Michael
Directed and produced by Mark Kenward, with co-direction by Rebecca Fisher, Wayne Harris, and Mark McGoldrick.
Each performer brings lived experience alongside professional backgrounds as performers, writers, and public speakers. Many are now actively engaged in supporting others facing re-entry, substance use recovery, housing instability, and homelessness.

### Why This Work Matters

Hearing stories from people who have been incarcerated fosters compassion and understanding about the circumstances that led to incarceration, what was endured and learned inside, and the hard-won successes of life after release. These stories offer hope for the human capacity to change, grow, and reinvent oneself — and invite reflection on the broader impact of incarceration in our society.
