What we’re about
Welcome to our new group where scripts come alive, characters find their voices, creative sparks turn into cinematic fire, and writers find their tribe. We’re inviting all screenwriters, script lovers, and storytelling fanatics to join us for two hours of dramatic reads, comedy beats, thrilling feedback, and a load of creative energy — all hosted at the legendary THE OPEN BOOK in sunny Simi Valley. Whether you’re a first-time writer, a seasoned storyteller, or just screenplay-curious, this is where you’ll sharpen your skills, get inspired, and have a blast doing it.

The Schedule: We meet weekly, Sundays at 1200 noon for 30 minutes of fellowship, followed by two hours of script presentations, critique and discussion, ending at 2:30PM, at The Open Book vintage bookstore (in the back on the right), 2880 Cochran St Ste A, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Please bring your refreshments, or there is a Panera and Starbucks right nearby.
