We are the HFF Trail Trekkers: We a’gonna get our step-counters a’workin’ !!
Hugh will lead to the 5 NE falls in Panthertown Valley; Up to 12 ppl are welcome to join him.
PARTICIPANTS REQUIRE THE APPROVAL OF THE HIKE ORGANIZER.
Hike Distance: 6 miles round trip, (Feels like 7.5) 800 ft initial descent Accum ascent on the return: 815 ft Pace: 2.0 mph.
Difficulty: Prepare for surprises; BRING watershoes for shallow stream Xing.
Masticating will be ‘in motion’.
Drive time: 35 min; 21mi 1-way
Trlhd: Google maps = “Cold Mountain Gap Trailhead”
Return Not earlier than: 3 PM
Carpool contributions appreciated. $4.00 suggested

We suggest open windows while carpooling. Only you know your own health status so judge accordingly if an event may endanger your health or the health of others.
Please bring an extra pair of shoes to avoid bringing your muddy shoes into the driver's car at the end of the hike.

Planned route (from the East (Cold Mtn) entry):
Panthertown Valley Tr (NW): 0.75 mi to:
Devil's Elbow Tr (North), 1.5 mi to Red Butt Falls.
passing side trails to:
Warden's Falls
Riding Ford Falls; then backtracking to:
Jawbone Falls; and then on to:
Elbow Falls
Red Butt Falls
