I am going to Tour the BRPkwy Spring Blooms after visiting Mingo Falls in the Qualla Boundary area; Up to 12 ppl are welcome to join me.
One of the Curmudgeon’s Top 10 events.

Masticating will be ‘in motion’. Pack snacks & drink.
Total Drive time: 4.25 hrs RT/170 mi total. With several stops; additional 2.0 hrs
Return Not earlier than: 5 PM pm (=7.5 hrs)
Carpool contributions appreciated. $10.00 suggested

Weather cancellations will be posted at 6:30am.

DESCRIPTION;
Remember - hikes led by ‘the Curmudgeon’ tend to have challenging surprises.
MINGO FALLS:
Drive distance to the Falls: 75 miles/ 1.75 hrs 1-way
Hike Distance: 0.4 mi. Accum ascent: 208 stairsteps
At 120 feet tall, the waterfall is one of the tallest and most spectacular in the southern Appalachians.
BRPKwy Spring Bloom Tour:
We will return on the parkway with several stops to view the Spring Blooms & roadside waterfalls.
Return drive distance: 95 miles/ 2.5 hrs drivetime 1-way (not including overlook stops)
Difficulty: get in&out of the car often. There will be up to 17 stops on the BRPkwy
