Hugh will lead to the Daniel Ridge Loop; Up to 12 of you are welcome to join him.
PARTICIPANTS REQUIRE THE APPROVAL OF THE HIKE ORGANIZER.
Distance: 5.2mi loop; Total ascent: 900 ft
Pace: 2.5 mph
Difficulty: Rocks, roots, steep sections;
Drive time: 15 min 1-way
Apprx return time: 2:30 PM
Carpool contributions appreciated. $2.00 suggested

We suggest slightly open windows while carpooling. Only you know your own health status so judge accordingly if an event may endanger your health or the health of others.
Please bring an extra pair of shoes to avoid bringing your muddy shoes into the driver's car at the end of the hike.
DESCRIPTION;
Remember – Our hikes tend to have challenging surprises.
We will do the loop counter clockwise, climbing first past Tom Springs Falls (100') on Tom Springs Branch and then Upper Tom Springs Falls (45'). There is a steep climb for the whole first half.
Note: Tom Springs Falls is named after Tom Daves, a prospector in the area during the late 1800s.
All hikes are at your own risk. You are responsible for your OWN safety and adequate equipment.
