DESCRIPTION;
Remember - hikes led by ‘the Curmudgeon’ tend to have challenging surprises.
Due to recent events, Ouija boards are no longer permitted.
MUST WRAP PHONES & CAMERAS IN SEALABLE BAGS. (ONE OF YOU WILL FALL. – (SMIRK)
This is the ultimate hot summer day hike!!! Moderately challenging sections & deep river Xings. 9 river Xings; knee deep. Wear sturdy old athletic shoes and double sock to avoid boot changes. No shoe changes at wet xings; we walk ‘wet’. River bottom is rocky. ‘Dry’ trail sections are dirt with some roots.
Great trail on a hot summer day !!! There is a swimmin’ hole in the river at the end!! WE WILL SWIM !!!
MUST bring an extra pair of shoes (and a plastic bag) to avoid bringing your muddy shoes into the driver's car at the end of the hike.
MUST bring drying towels to place on car seats.
