Blue Ridge Pkwy Fall Color Tour

the Curmudgeon’s Annual Fall Color Series.
I am going to Tour the Fall Color on the BRPkwy. For those who are new to the area, this one is the reason you moved here.
We will start from the Maggie Valley entrance and return on the BRPkwy – stopping at select overlooks. The Mile-High Overlook & Waterrock Knob are included. ‘Trail breaks’ available at the beginning & during (2ea) the tour.
Rain Date: Fri 16-Oct-'26; 9:15 AM
Difficulty: No hiking involved!. BRING drink; snacks, camera, binoculars. I don’t plan on ‘lunch breaks’, but ‘da vimen’ often out-vote me (smirk).
Carpool contributions appreciated. $10.00 suggested
Drive time: 5.5 hrs - All Day !!! / 150 mi RT.
Return Not earlier than: 3:30pm
Dogs: since we will be in the car all day, it’s probably best to leave Fluffy at home.
