Blessing Empowerment of Medicine Buddha
Details
What is an empowerment?
“An empowerment bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature.” — Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
According to Buddha all disease and suffering, both mental and physical, are caused by our delusions such as anger and jealousy. Normally, these delusions feel deeply ingrained. But through connecting to Medicine Buddha, we can experience the pure nature of our mind and heal ourselves of these inner diseases.
This empowerment is a beautiful guided meditation during which we will receive the blessings of Medicine Buddha, the embodiment of all enlightened healing energy. During the commentary, Heruka KMC Resident Teacher Kerrin Perniciaro, will explain the profound Tantric practice, known as self-generation, through which we awaken our own potential to become an enlightened healing Buddha.
