About the Retreat:
Start 2026 with intention and love, overcome feelings of fear and isolation, and respond with caring equanimity. Radhule will guide us in discussion and meditation practices to build a field of care. She will focus on caring equanimity—a place where we can hold ourselves and others with compassion and recognize that warmth and unconditional kindness are expressions of our fundamental nature. Mariela will bring a multi-cultural and trauma-sensitive perspective to our practice. She will show us how to preserve our self-respect and respect for others while navigating challenging situations and difficult emotions. Her approach includes reflection on how each person’s unique experience, including their upbringing, cultural background, and spiritual beliefs, influences their ability to practice self-compassion and how they perceive their role in the great web of life.
