**Anjoli Roy** (she/her) is a creative writer and high school English teacher in Honolulu. Her ancestors are from India, Germany, England, and Ireland. She is author of the chapbook, *Enter the Navel: For the Love of Creative Nonfiction* (The Operating System, 2020) and PhDJ for “It’s Lit,” a literature-and-music podcast she co-hosts with Jocelyn Kapumealani Ng. Anjoli is currently shopping around a book-length manuscript about her great-grandfather and freedom-fighter Kali Nath Roy. 

**D. Kealiʻi MacKenzie** is a queer, Native Hawaiian poet. He is the author of *The Mana of Salt* (Backbone Press, 2023), winner of the 2023 Backbone Press Chapbook Contest, and *From Hunger to Prayer* (Silverneedle Press, 2018). He lives in Kailua, on the island of Oahu in Hawai‘i.

**Amanda Galvan Huynh** (she/her) is a Xicana writer and educator from Texas. She is the author *Where My Umbilical is Buried* (Sundress Publications 2023), a chapbook *Songs of Brujería* (Big Lucks September 2019), and Co-Editor of *Of Color: Poets’ Ways of Making: An Anthology of Essays on Transformative Poetics* (The Operating System 2019). She serves as the Managing Editor of [Mānoa: A Pacific Journal of International Writing.](https://manoajournal.org/)

**Misty-Lynn Sanico** is a writer, editor, and Communications Manager from O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. Her work has appeared in *Bamboo Ridge*, *Abstract Magazine*, *Honolulu Star-Advertiser* and more. She co-founded [HawaiiReads.com](http://hawaiireads.com/), a local literary website, to promote and support Hawai‘i, Pacific, and other BIPOC books and authors. She is also a designer with experience in book covers, typesetting, and layouts.
