Bealtaine: Spiritual Ecologies and the Magickal Earth
Details
Bealtaine is the ancient Celtic festival marking the beginning of summer. Traditionally held on May 1st, it is one of the four major seasonal festivals along with Samhain, Imbolc, Lughnasadh. In 2026, Beltane falls on Friday, May 1, coinciding with the Full Flower Moon, which many practitioners believe amplifies the festival's themes of growth and vitality. It is a moment when the natural world awakens and invites us to participate in its cycles of growth, renewal, and transformation. How can we, together, deepen our awareness of the sacred rhythms of nature, and in doing so, expand our individual and collective consciousness and commitment? Join with us on the first weekend of May as we offer a meditation on the turning of the year.
In spiritual ecology, Bealtaine is more than a seasonal ritual—it’s a reminder that Gaia, the living Earth, is an enspirited force that sustains and nourishes all life. This ONLINE presentation will explore some history, as well as some practices: what we can do, spiritually, ecologically, emotionally, to build life. What practices can we embrace to align ourselves more fully with the Earth’s cycles of renewal and transformation?
Every one is welcome -- whether you are drawn to neo-paganism, Wicca, shamanism, eco-spirituality, earth-based traditions, or are an adherent of Abrahamic faiths, Judaism, Christianity, or Islam.
All of these circles of belief respect and practice nature magicks in ways unique to each. Together, we are invited to find common cause in recognizing the Earth’s spirit, the magickness of nature, and our shared connection to the living, breathing Earth. Regardless of our spiritual backgrounds, how can we work together to honor the Earth’s spirit and contribute to the healing and magick of nature?
This meditation invites us to join, to participate, to deepen our connection with the Earth and its enspirited forces; invites us to align with the universal spiritual energy that binds all living beings. Be free, be welcome, be in the spirit. But be here SUNDAY, 3 May, 5:00 PM, 2026.
