The Mid-Hudson ADK is a local chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK), a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and responsible use of New York State's wild lands and waters.
Our chapter has many outings, most of which are not posted on Meetup.

  • Our outings include walks, tours, hikes, paddles, camping, backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and more!
  • We offer both mid-week and weekend outings, along with occasional overnight trips.
  • Our outing leaders are trained, and we never leave anyone behind.
  • Although membership is required, we do allow prospective members to attend several outings before joining the ADK.

Check us out! Visit our website or Facebook group. View our upcoming outings. View trip reports from our recently completed outings, or view completed outings by activity type: walks, tours, hiking (easy, moderate, strenuous hikes… also overnighters), canoeing/kayaking (easy paddles, longer day paddles, and overnight paddles), camping and backpacking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fire tower climbs.
