What we’re about
This is a group of Dog lovers that like to socialize and get out for walks, hikes, or attend events with our 4 legged companions. We are all easy-going, dog-loving people, and we understand that some dogs need a little more time to warm up to the pack. Never hesitate to ask questions about our pack, We have some very knowledgeable dog lovers in this group! Hikes are from somewhat challenging and strenuous to very easy walks in the park. With skill levels ranging from beginner to expert and anywhere in between, all are welcome! We try to find dog-friendly restaurants locally to the hike where we can enjoy each other's company just a little longer. We also attend events organized by others where bringing our dogs are encouraged and accepted! We love exploring local, outdoor, dog-friendly locations and meet like-minded individuals, and we hope you would like to join us. Let's check out what the greater Hudson Valley area has to offer for pet-friendly recreation.

There is a petting zoo and a dog park, sunflower field in which we get to pick 2 flowers. Lobster rolls will be on the menu. Live music and also a slip and slide for Diana!
We have done this hike before, and it is great for dogs with access to water! An easy, fairly flat hike, with few minor ups and downs. This hike will take us around Nuclear Lake and back for a round trip.
Please There is a $2 meetup fee for this adventure to offset the organizer's site expenses. Thank you. If you decide to come with us, please be at the parking lot on time; some of your fellow hikers show up 10-15 min early to be ready and show them the respect they deserve AND PLAN AHEAD. This organizer reserves the right to add from the wait-list as I see fit. Frequent attendees with a good record of attending events they sign up for will be prioritized.
