Shaupeneak Ridge
Details
Explore this 3 to 4-mile loop trail near Ulster Park, New York. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. This trail starts out going around Louisa Pond and then crosses the road and heads to an overlook.
Remember to bring plenty of water for your companion and yourself. Dress according to the forecast.
