Piermont History Hike

Fabulous Piermont, beautiful and historic!! While this is mostly paved and generally easy, it is around 6 miles with some manageable hills. Therefore, you must be okay with this. It's mostly direct sun and similar to a walking tour. Everyone is expected to stay with the group, not run ahead or lag behind. We will do a full comprehensive exploration of this remarkable village and focus not only on the obvious draws, but much of the obscure and nooks n crannies. Who was Eleazar Lord? There's a waterfall? What's the flywheel about? Secret gardens? Restored train station. Houses from the 1700's and a very cool large 1832, vacant, brick building treasure.

All start on the waitlist with preference given to regulars while endeavoring to add some newbies.

There are a few port-o-johns along the way but NONE at the meetup so plan accordingly.

We will take a snack/lunch break at the end of The Pt which is around half way.
