Tarrytown Lighthouse Tour and much more History Hike.

Tarrytown Lighthouse is a jewel of the Hudson River. I’ve arranged a private tour just for us! Strict limited amount of people allowed per the County. Therefore, we’ll do it twice, 5-3 and 5-17.

Cost: There is an $8.00 charge for the Lighthouse that I’ll collect when you sign in with me. Please have exact cash. Donation: The usual $5.00 to History Hikers.

All start waitlisted wt first preference to long time regulars. Slightly slower paced. Everyone is expected to stay with the group.

The hike: Around 6.5? miles. Hard to say as this is a BRAND NEW History Hike. Easy. We will do the Tarrytown River Walk, Lighthouse tour, lunch at Kingsland Park, another River Walk and Peabody Preserve. Out n back.

Bathrooms: Formal at the meetup. One port-o-john at Kingsland and one port-o-john at Peabody.

Park/Meet: IMPORTANT-Meet Metro North R R Commuter Lot D, next to the Rec Center. Free. If full, adjacent lot C. We DO NOT park in the rec center lot. That’s just for residents. Please understand where this is before you leave as there are several lots there.

No guests, pets, slow pokes, runners, early outs. If you’re on the waitlist you can’t just show up. Liability waiver signature required. Distance and finish times are approximations only. Never quote me.
