Belvedere Estate Special Event and more History Hike.

The incredible private Belvedere Estate isn’t open to the public for tours. It will be for us. It’s been a few years since we visited. The property manager will give us access to inside the mansion and grounds while telling us it’s history. And there’s MUCH more. See below.

Fee: Mandatory $5.00 to Belvedere that I’ll collect when you sign in. Donation: The usual suggested $5.00 to History Hikes.

All start waitlisted wt preference to regulars who haven’t been recently while endeavoring to add a few newbies.

The full event: Belvedere, then explore the fabulous Lyndhurst Estate which is next door, followed by a hike on the pretty paved trail that runs parallel to the River towards the Bridge. Easy hike wt a few short hills. Around 4-5? miles. Just a guess as we’ve never done this event this way. We’ll take a short snack break at Lyndhurst. Distance and finish times are best guesses. Never quote me.

Bathrooms: At Belvedere and possibly at Lyndhurst but I’m not sure about the latter.

NO GUESTS. Liability waiver signature required at the meetup. No pets. Everyone is expected to stay wt the group. No early outs, you’re signing for everything. If you’re on the waitlist you can’t just show up.
